Our legislative ratings demonstrate the responsiveness of your legislators to merit shop contractors.  As business leaders, citizens, voters and taxpayers  we need and demand accountability for the actions of our elected officials.  The ratings are to aid you in determining whether your legislators are working with you or against you as your business competes in the marketplace.  Make your elected officials accountable.

Each of the percentages next to the legislators names are based on a point system for ABCIL's priorty bills.  The bills that were rated will be listed in for each chamber.

HB 1041 (Beiser/Haine) Prevailing Wage Act
Amends the Prevailing Wage Act to define "federal construction projects" as public works contracted for directly by the federal government.

Amends the Prevailing Wage Act adding a felony penalty for failure to provide certain wage information. After an amendment was adopted in Senate, ABC became neutral. Now PA97-571

The Tribunal will have original jurisdiction over the hearing and determination of questions of law and fact arising from notices of tax liability, notices of deficiency, notices of claim denial, and notices of penalty liability where the amount at issue in a notice or the aggregate amount at issue in multiple notices issued for the same tax year or audit period, exceeds $15,000, exclusive of penalties and interests.
