Substance Abuse Prevention Program

SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAM (SAPP)

Legislation that went into affect on January 1, 2008, requires all companies performing Public Works projects to have a substance abuse prevention program in place with specified elements.  The law states that there is a minimum requirement of a 9-panel drug test and a test for alcohol.

ABCIL now offers an affordable program that not only provides you with a personalized substance abuse policy for your company, but also on-site random drug and alcohol testing, pre-employment screenings, and reasonable cause or post-accident screenings.  Participating in this program will ensure your companies compliance with the Illinois Public Act 95-635 mentioned above.  Participation may also lower your workman's compensation rates too!
