ABC Illinois’ Community Builders Program Named a 2026 Community Impact Award Winner by Culture of Good, Inc.
[Elk Grove Village, IL] — May 27, 2026 — Associated Builders & Contractors - Illinois Chapter has been named a 2026 Community Impact Award Winner by Culture of Good in recognition of its meaningful commitment to serving others, strengthening communities, and using business as a force for good.
Presented annually by Culture of Good, the Community Impact Awards recognize for-profit and nonprofit organizations across the United States that are making a measurable difference through service, generosity, partnership, and purpose-driven leadership. The award celebrates organizations that not only succeed in business but also create a positive impact in the communities they serve.
Associated Builders & Contractors - Illinois Chapter was selected for this recognition based on its demonstrated commitment to community impact through its Community Builders program, which provides individuals—many with no prior construction experience—the opportunity to learn a skilled trade, earn nationally recognized credentials, and build a pathway toward stable, well-paying careers. Through direct connections with hiring employers and continued opportunities in U.S. Department of Labor registered apprenticeships, the program creates meaningful second chances while strengthening the future workforce of the construction industry.
